HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – An upcoming plant sale In Holland will raise money to fight hunger and bring attention to regenerative, land-healthy agriculture.
Eighth Day Farm and Community Action House have teamed up for the sale that will feature a selection of heirloom and organic varieties, and staples such as corn, tomatoes, peppers, and squash. An assortment or annuals, perennials, and flowers will also be on sale, ready to beautify local gardens. For those with green thumbs, and inexperienced gardeners alike, the sale offers a selection of quality plants.
Rain or shine, the Plant Sale will take place at the Community Action House General Store and Eighth Day Farm will have 2017 farm shares available for purchase. Even more enticing, the Community Action House General Store will be featuring great deals on gardening supplies and summer merchandise.
The Plant Sale will be held on May 20, 2017 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Community Action House General Store located at 694 Michigan Avenue in Holland.
