HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Two ballot issues face registered voters in the City of Holland in a special school election on May 2nd.
The first is the 18-mill Non-Homestead Property Renewal proposal that the district will seek approval of for three years instead of one. The other is a 10-year Sinking Fund request of four tenths of a mill for one year and one and a quarter mills for the remaining nine years.
The Holland City’s Clerk’s Office will be open this Saturday, April 29 from 10-2 p.m. for the issuance of absentee voter ballots for the special school election on May 2. Each voter must pick up their own ballot and present a photo ID.
Passport applications are also being accepted on Saturday from an U.S. Citizen. Application forms for new and renewing passports are available in the Clerk’s Office. Passport photos may also be taken and no appointment is necessary.
