NUNICA, MI (WHTC) – A single-vehicle crash on Friday evening around 7:20 PM left a driver fatally injured in Nunica.
Sgt. Cal Keuning of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department says that the crash occurred on 120th Ave. north of State St. in Crockery Township. Deputies found the vehicle rolled over in the ditch and the driver was pinned inside the vehicle,
After being extricated from the vehicle, North Ottawa Community Hospital EMS pronounced the driver dead on the scene.
On Sunday evening, Keuning identified the driver as 45-year-old Michael Haukom of the Fruitport area. The incident is being investigated by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.
