ALLENDALE TWP., MI (WHTC) – Authorities have released the name of the stabbing victim and suspect in a fatal stabbing that occurred on Saturday, April 15.
Captain Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says a forensic autopsy on 26-year-old Spencer Rauch of Allendale Township revealed the cause of death was a single stab wound to the chest.
The suspect is 33-year-old Heather Marie McFerrin of Standale. McFerrin is being held in the Ottawa County Jail without bond and awaits further court appearances according to Bennett.
Bennett says McFerrin and Rauch knew each other, but were not in a domestic relationship.
On Saturday, April 15, Rauch was pronounced dead at the scene in the Allendale Meadows mobile home park after an altercation in the roadway on Snowmass Lane near Boyne Boulevard around 8:40 p.m.
