HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – It’s budget-making time at Holland City Hall.
Discussion on a proposed 20.9 million-dollar spending plan for fiscal 2018 begins during this evening’s scheduled City Council business meeting. It’s 2.7 percent less than the current financial blueprint, and is balanced through touching 67 thousand dollars in reserve funds. City Manager Ryan Cotton and his staff drew up the budget following priority guidelines set forth by council members.
There will be two other budget review sessions scheduled for tomorrow and for next Monday, both at 5:30 PM, and are open to the public. A formal public hearing and final vote should be set tonight for May 3rd.
