WASHINGTON, DC (WHTC) – Zeeland Congressman Bill Huizenga will be hosting an “Academy Night” for Second District High School students who are interested in applying to one of the nation’s prestigious Service Academies.
Congressman Huizenga will meet with students, parents and families and Representatives from the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and the U.S. Naval Academy will be in attendance.
Congressional staff and Academy Representatives will also be available to answer questions after the presentation concludes.
Service Academy Night is Wednesday, April 12. The event will be held in the Commission Chambers of the Ottawa County Fillmore Complex located at 12220 Fillmore Street in West Olive. Meet with Congressman Huizenga from 5:30-6:30 and the Service Academy from 6-7:00 p.m.
