HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Six West Michigan Family Dollar stores are slated to close this summer, according to new state filings.
Stores on S. Washington Avenue in Holland and on 28th St. in Wyoming are on the chopping block. Stores are also slated to be shuttered in Kentwood, Grand Rapids, and Portage.
Stores on South Westnedge Avenue in Portage and M-139 in Benton Harbor are on the chopping block. Stores are also slated to be shuttered in Kentwood, Grand Rapids, Wyoming and Holland.
WOOD-TV reports the dollar store chain is expected to lay off 33 employees.
WDIV TV in Detroit is reporting that Dollar General will be aquring Dollar Express stores in 36 states.
