A three-vehicle crash injured three men during Monday’s commute in Holland Township.
Sgt. Eric Westveer of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to the I-196 business loop and 112th Avenue around 4:46 p.m. when all three vehicles were westbound on the business loop. 25-year-old Joshua Hunsasker of Holland was stopped due to stalled traffic in front of him when 61-year-old Karl Meyer of Holland was unable to stop and crashed into Hunsaker’s vehicle.
Matthew Ymker, 33, of Hudsonville approached the collision of the other two drivers and was also unable to stop in time. He crashed into both vehicles.
Hunsaker sought medical treatment privately. Meyer and Ymker were transported to Holland Hospital in stable condition.
Alcohol is not a factor in the crash
