LANSING, MI (WHTC) – More choices for Michigan high schoolers are in the works.
Measures now going to the Senate will take away some core classes necessary for graduation. New legislation will eliminate some math, science, health and English courses in an effort to encourage students to take more classes that educate them for the careers they want.
The new legislation will give students who are interested in vocational and skilled trades more opportunity.
