HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Cherry Republic is set to open it’s Holland location in the next few weeks.
The 2, 745 square foot store is located at 29 West 8th Street and management has been remodeling the space with new floors, fixtures and filling the shelves with product.
In a press release, the company says they are in love with Holland and even created a blog that gives you a sneak peak inside to the new location. The Holland location is still looking to fill a few positions. Applications are being accepted for Store Manager, Supervisor and Sales Associates. You can go online for more information and to apply.
Cherry Republic is known for an abundance of cherries in most of their products. Everything from jams, salsas, dips to cookies. The Holland location will feature a tasting bar where customers can try cherry-flavored wines and sodas.
Cherry Republic was founded in 1989 when Bob Sutherland began selling T-shirts emblazoned with the slogan “Life, Liberty, Beaches and Pie” from the trunk of his car. A few years and many thousands of T-shirts later, Bob branched out into cherry products with the opening of their Traverse City store.
Now with the Holland location set to open the chain will have seven locations in Michigan.
