HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – It’s sure sign that Summer isn’t too far off when it’s Oberon Day in Michigan.
Bell’s Oberon is specifically brewed to be enjoyed during the warmer months. Area restaurants that serve the beer are celebrating.
Hop’s at 84 East on 8th Street in Holland is celebrating with pints of Oberon for only $3.00 today, March 27 through Wednesday, March 29.
Steve Van Dommelon of Hop’s official title is “Beer Guy.” He says the beer is so popular because it’s a signal warmer weather is coming.
“The dull winter is over and a nice bright glass of delicious wheat ale with mostly an orange attached to the side of the glass is a great way to welcome the warm weather. We know it’s coming.”
Van Dommelon says there is an “All You Can Eat” Taco Bar in their taproom today from 11-2 p.m. for just $7.00. He added, “I can’t think of anything much better than beer and tacos.”
Hops 84 East is located at 84 East 8th Street in downtown Holland.
