HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Macatawa Bank has received the distinguished United Way Community Builder Award as well as the Joe Martella Above and Beyond Award.
At the LIVE UNITED celebration with Greater Ottawa County United Way on Thursday, March 23, Macatawa Bank was one of seven companies to receive the United Way Community Builder Award. In order to receive this award, companies must exceed in five criteria established by the United Way, which are; an increase of employee giving from the previous year, at least $175 average gift per donor, 50% or more participation in campaign giving, employee volunteer involvement and three or more employees giving at the Lighthouse Leadership Circle level ($500 and above).
Macatawa Bank is headquartered in Holland Michigan and has 26 full-service branches located throughout Ottawa, Kent and northern Allegan Counties.
