HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – You’re invited to join members of the community in Holland and around the world for Earth Hour 2017.

The City of Holland suggests sitting by candle light and turning off non-essential lighting around the house and outside. Businesses, schools and churches are also encouraged to participate.
At 3 p.m. at Graves Hall on the campus of Hope College you’re invited to a free showing of the documentary The City Dark. The New York times gave this documentary about light pollution high marks. The film explores what our increasing inability to see the night sky means for us philosophically.
