CASCO TWP, MI (WHTC) – South Haven Area Emergency Services (SHAES) battled a house fire and revived the homeowners family dog.
The fire was a confined to the living room and occurred around 8:55 a.m. on Baseline Road near 70th Street. No one was home when the fire occurred. The family dog was found semi-conscious on the bathroom floor. The dog was given oxygen at the scene and rushed to a local vet. Reports are the dog is expected to be ok.
A passerby reported the fire. Two cats perished in the fire. SHAES assisted by Ganges Township Fire Department.
