HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Holland City Council were presented with a detailed design of the Civic Center Place from Edgewater Resources at Wednesday’s study session.
The study session was also over public use of the building. City Manager Ryan Cotten discussed the use of the Civic Center for Friday night basketball games. Calvary Christian is interested in having the Civic Center as their home weekday nights and Holland Christian has decided to wait to see the progress of the building. Cotten said that there would be a conflict with concerts, shows and other events on Friday nights. Since it was a study session nothing has been decided.
The update on the design of the Civic Center from Edgewater design included exterior and interior elevations, number of seats and several improvements such as a 5,000 square foot indoor year round market space.
