2/26 Sunday: Holland Chorale Concert CROWNING GLORIES at Holland High School Performing Arts Center- In its first collaboration with Grand Valley State University, the Holland Chorale joins the University Arts Chorale, the GVSU Symphony Orchestra, and the Chancel Choir of Park Church, Grand Rapids for a concert of kingly proportions! Start with Haydn’s LORD NELSON MASS, and end with Borodin’s magnificent PRINCE IGOR OVERTURE and POLOVETSIAN DANCES. 2/27 Monday: Hope College Concert Series: Josh Garrels & John Mark McMillan present The Revelators Tour at Dimnent Memorial Chapel- Josh Garrels and John Mark McMillan have announced details for their second North American co-headlining tour in 2017. “The Revelators Tour” nine-city run will kick off on February 16 in Asheville, North Carolina, and wrap on February 27 here in Holland, Michigan. 277 College Ave., Holland; 7:30pm; $15 Student, $25 Faculty, $32 Advance, $35 Door.
2/27 Tuesday: Fat Tuesday at Hops- Come celebrate Mardi Gras, Hops style, when we put on our own Fat Tuesday celebration! There will be food and drink specials running thoughout the day. We’ll serve gumbo all day and a special plate of fried chicken with red beans & rice from 4pm on. The day’s cocktails include Sazeracs, our Barrel-Aged Daiquiris, and Hurricanes. 2/28 Wednesday: Women & Environment Symposium Film and Panel at Park Theatre-Women and the Environment Symposium will be featuring the film Arise at Park Theater in Holland. Join us afterward for a brief panel discussion on the film and its impacts on West Michigan. 248 S River Ave, Holland.
3/1 Thursday: 2 1/2 Hour Interactive Cooking Class at Fustini’s- Take a trip across the pond without even needing a passport. A hands-on environment learning how to make: Sugar Snap Pea Soup; Pan Roasted Scallops with Yellow Pepper Thyme Sauce; Welsh Rarebit; Lamb with Herb Crust; Deconstructed Trifle; Cost is $59 per person and payment is expected at time of registration as seats are limited.
