GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – It’s not just the unseasonably warm weather that has West Michigan with a bit of spring fever, the concert season will soon start and that’s always a sure sign of summer.
Three shows this Summer at the Meijer Garden Summer Concert Series have been revealed. The line-up will feature a mix of blues, rock and alternative music.
On June 9, 2017- St. Paul and the Broken Bones will take to the stage. Bones is an ensemble with a gospel-tinged, retro-soul garage sound with feature horns and a dynamic lead sing.
June 12, 2017- brings you Four Voices. Legendary artists Joan Baez, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Indigo Girls Amy Ray and Emily Sailiers will share the stage in a group performance.
August 18, 2017- features Jethro Tull by Ian Anderson. Anderson is the voice and flute behind the legendary Jethro Tell and will be celebrating his 49th year as a recording artist.
