COMSTOCK PARK, MI (WHTC) – The West Michigan Whitecaps are preparing for spring training and their 24th season of baseball.
The countdown has begun for the Opening Day Bash at Fifth Third Ballpark on Thursday, April 6. The Opening Day Bash is a special event in the indoor Pepsi Stadium Club overlooking right field. In addition to access to the Pepsi Stadium Club, each ticket includes an all-you-can-eat barbeque from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for $26 per person.
The Safeco Insurance 4Topps tables include four swivel chairs at a rounded table behind home plate, with exclusive wait service so you don’t have to wait in concessions stand lines. Tickets for Safeco Insurance 4Topps tables are $110, and all dates on the 2017 schedule will be available for sale on February 14.
Fans can order 4Topps tickets and Opening Day Bash tickets online by phone 616-784-4131 or in person at the Fifth Third Ballpark administrative offices (4500 West River Drive, Comstock Park; follow the signs for Administrative Offices) beginning at 10 a.m. on February 14. Ticket sales hours at the Administrative Offices are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Regular game tickets for all 70 home games in the 2017 season will go on sale Tuesday, Feb. 21. Discounted tickets for groups of 20 or more are on sale now, as are season ticket packages, including mini plans, partial season, flex books and full season plans.
The Whitecaps’ 24th opening day is set for Thursday, April 6, at 6:35 p.m. against the South Bend Cubs. The first 1,200 fans through the gates will receive a Whitecaps Alpine Hat courtesy of Fifth Third Bank. Post-game Family Fare Fireworks will conclude the opening day celebration.
