ALLENDALE TWP, MI (WHTC) – A 22-year-old Grand Valley State University student is in serious condition after being struck while crossing the road.
Ottawa County Sheriff Deputy Eric Westveer says Lloyd Orr was crossing Pierce just west of 48th Avenue near Copperbeach Apartments when he was struck at around 1:11 a.m. Sunday, February 12. Timothy Odea, 20, of Allendale was westbound on Pierce and did not see Orr on the roadway and struck him.
Orr was transported to Butterworth Hospital by Life EMS and is listed in serious, but stable condition. Odea was not injured in the crash and alcohol was not a factor.
