HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A local charity has a new leader.
Community Action House has tabbed Kim Squiers as its new Executive Director, replacing Mark Tucker, who retired at the end of 2016 after 13 years at the helm. Squiers has past non-profit organizational administrative experience with an American Red Cross branch in suburban New Orleans, the Allegan County Community Mental Health Department and the Holland Hospital Foundation. She is expected to lead “the agency’s diverse community efforts” that includes the Empowerment Institute and the Community Kitchen, among other initiatives.
CAH officials say the naming of Squires comes after over a year’s search for Tucker’s replacement.
