PORT SHELDON, MI (WHTC) – A woman who landed in a water-filled ditch suffered minor injuries during Sunday evening’s slippery conditions.
WZZM TV-13 reports that the woman lost control of her van on Sunday, January 29, and rolled over into a water-filled ditch at 144th Avenue just south of Van Buren Street.
Dive teams in dry suits entered the ditch to rescue the woman from her vehicle that was sitting upright in the ditch.
Authorities are asking people to use caution on the snow-covered and slippery roads.
