HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The calendar may say that this is the fourth week of January, but for Holland’s annual signature event, now is the time for stepping out.
Tulip Time Festival officials announced that applications for participation in the festival’s three parades are now being accepted online. Interested groups have a two-week window, through Tuesday, February 7th, to have their paperwork submitted without incurring any late fees.
Applicants that are unique “with colorful entries” are being sought to participate in the May 10th Volksparade, the May 11th Kinderparade and/or the May 13th Muziekparade, which is being billed as Michigan’s longest at 2.4 miles. Last year, the Muziekparade had over four thousand participants in 160 units showcased.
The Tulip Time Festival runs from May 6th through the 14th.
