GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – Police have arrested the driver of the snow plow that hit and killed a woman in Wyoming.
On Tuesday, January 11, 26-year old Chelsea Crawford was walking along 52nd Street in Wyoming when she was stuck. Crawford died at the scene.
The suspect was arrested at an apartment complex less than two miles away Wednesday afternoon. His name is not being released until his arraignment. WOOD TV 8 reports that he has a criminal record including selling marijuana and driving on a suspended license. Crawford’s parents say they have forgiven him.
Crawford’s husband has launched a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral expenses.
