WEST OLIVE, MI (WHTC) – The operation of Ottawa County Government is is good hands.
So says the Board of Commissioners, who last week disclosed its annual evaluation of Administrator Al Vanderberg. Chairman Joe Baumann of Holland’s North Side and his colleagues rated his performance at 4.8 on a scale of one to five, with five being the best. “He’s a definate asset to the county,” Baumann said in an appearance on “WHTC Talk of the Town” last week. “He is forward-thinking and is always trying to stay one step ahead of everybody.”
Vanderberg is entering his 14th year as the operational leader of Ottawa County.
