SAUGATUCK TWP., MI (WHTC) – Hypothermia has been determined to be the cause of death for a Saugatuck Township woman whose body was found in the snow at a mobile home park 12 days before her 41st birthday.
Children playing at a playground on the grounds of the Shangri-La complex off of Blue Star Highway near 62nd Street around 2 PM on Sunday discovered the body of Jamie Jon Dollar, who apparently had been deceased “for some time,” according to responding Allegan County Sheriff’s deputies, who also had to melt the snow around the scene in order to look for evidence surrounding the incident.
Detectives add that the autopsy uncovered no signs of foul play, and they are awaiting toxicology results to see if intoxicants were a contributing factor before closing the case.
