HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The last week until Christmas is full of events in the Holland/Zeeland area!
12/18 Sunday: Victory At Sea Day (Ballast Point Tap Takeover) at Hops at 84 East- December 18th marks the return of Ballast Point’s annual Victory at Sea Day. What began as a local event in their tasting rooms featuring several varieties of Coffee Vanilla Imperial Porter has become a day to celebrate everywhere with original, coconut, peanut butter cup, peppermint, and nitro Victory at Sea varieties. We’ll have Victory at Sea inspired food & cocktail specials for the event. Come down to Hops taproom to carry on the tradition! 84 East Eighth Street, Holland; 4:00pm until 9:00pm.
12/19 Monday: Hope v. Spalding University Men’s Basketball at DeVos Fieldhouse- The Flying Dutch host the Golden Eagles for the Russ DeVette/Holland Sentinel Classic. 222 Fairbanks Ave, Holland; 8 PM – 11 PM.
12/20 Tuesday: Santa’s Shoppe at Carolyn Stich Studio- Enjoy this favorite holiday tradition and visit Santa Claus in Downtown Holland at Carolyn Stich Studio! There is no charge for children to sit on Santa’s lap, but be sure to bring your own camera for photos. 206 College Ave., Holland; 5:30pm-8:30pm; Free.
12/21 Wednesday: Critter Barn Live Nativity- Critter Barn loves to give children a hands-on experience to help them imagine the first Christmas. Each year they invite you to their Live Nativity to experience the telling of the story of Jesus Christ’s birth. You’ll enjoy photos of Israel where Christ lived, plus inspirational music, costumed characters, live animals in our barn, and more! They make Christmas of long ago come alive! 12/22 Thursday: Handbell Concert at Commons of Evergreen-Y our favorite carols played by the Handbell Choir. 480 State Street, Holland; 11:45am; Free.
12/23 Friday: Sneaky Elves at the Holland Area Arts Council- This open-house style event gives children the chance to participate in the gift giving! Parents can drop kids off and sneak away downtown while kids make and wrap gifts for their families. What they make is a secret… so no peeking! No preregistration is necessary. 150 E 8th St, Holland; 10am-3pm; $15.
12/24 Saturday: Christmas Eve! Enjoy it with family and friends!
