HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Police officers with the Holland Department of Public Safety spread holiday cheer this past Tuesday, December 13.
They were greeting residents at Quality Car Wash and gas stations. The officers pumped customers gas and even paid for it.
Donated gas cards made it possible for the HDPS to team up with Quality Car Wash. Sgt. Larry Matzen tells WHTC News it started last year with a citizen who made a donation with the department asking them to pay it forward and they decided to do it again. “Just to have that contact with the public in a non-complaint forum, it renews your belief in everything. it was really good.”
Check out the video and you never know when you may see them out and about again spreading Holiday cheer.
