HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The new Hamilton Service Center will serve more than 56,000 Consumers Energy customers in Allegan County as well as parts of Ottawa and Van Buren Counties.
The 7.5 million dollar project features more than 22,000-square-feet on 18 acres in Allegan County’s Heath Township at the new facility. It has been built to LEED certification and will be headquarters for approximately 50 operational and administrative Consumers Energy employees.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is by invitation only and will take place Thursday, December 15 at 2 p.m. and will include tours, equipment on display and refreshments. Consumers Energy’s vice president of electric operation Guy Packard will be on hand as well as top local elected officials and community leaders.
The service center is located at 3030 MI-40 in Hamilton Michigan.
