LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Looking for bargains this Christmas shopping season? The state of Michigan may have an idea for you.
From 8 AM to 12 Noon this coming Saturday, December 10th, the MiStore off of West Joseph Street in Lansing will hold a special one-day sale of items seized by police, donated to the state or left unclaimed at public properties will be available for purchase. According to Carrie Rambo, manager of the state’s surplus program, “We have items ranging from snowboard boots and baseball bats to cell phones and cameras. It’s a great opportunity for customers to find a wealth of merchandise at great savings.”
The caveats to this sale are that all items are sold as is, where is, with no loading assistance provided and no returns or refunds accepted. Payments with cash or credit cards can be made.
Besides the four-hour live sale, there is also an online bidding process available. A link to more information about the sales is here.
