OLIVE TWP, MI (WHTC) – A 45-year old West Olive woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash after her vehicle was run off the roadway and ended up in a ditch Tuesday evening, November 29.
Sgt. Matt Wilfong of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says Nicholas VanderZwaag, 28 of Holland was east on Polk Street around and pulled into the westbound lane to pass a vehicle driven by Stephanie Stehouwer, 45 of West Olive. As he was passing, Stehouwer then pulled into a driveway and was hit by VanderZwaag. Both vehicles ran off the road and into a ditch.
Stehouwer was transported to Zeeland Hospital by AMR ambulance in stable condition. Nicholas Vanderzwaag was not injured in the crash.
