HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 14-year-old Holland boy was critically injured Tuesday morning, November 29, after being hit by a vehicle.
Captain Keith Mulder of the Holland Department of Public Safety tells WHTC News that two teenagers were crossing Lincoln Avenue this morning when a small four door sedan driven by a 19-year-old female hit one of the teens. It was raining heavily at the time of the crash with very little light in the area when one of the teens ran in front of the vehicle that was northbound on Lincoln and was struck.
AMR paramedics and the Holland Fire Department treated the teen at the scene and he was first transported to Holland Hospital and then later to Spectrum Butterworth. Department of Public Safety Victim Services were also called to the scene to assist the victim’s family and the driver who was not injured.
