PARK TWP, MI (WHTC) – A Byron Center man was transported to Holland Hospital Monday morning November 21, after hitting a light pole and tree in Park Township.
Sgt. Bob Ruster of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says Tony Phung, 21, was driving a 2013 Honda Civic westbound on Ottawa Beach Road when he failed to navigate a curve in the road west of 168th Avenue. Phung’s vehicle struck a light pole and then a tree.
Park Township Fire Rescue assisted in the crash and Phung’s condition is unknown at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
