HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Holland City Council members tackle a number of issues during a work-study session this evening.
Among the items on the 5:30 PM agenda is a progress update of the Holland-Hope College Sustainability Institute in its efforts to help the Tulip City “become a world-class energy-efficient community,” according to City Manager Ryan Cotton; discuss a proposed collaboration with the Macatawa Area Coordinating Council and Pedal Holland on a three-year “Big Jump” effort to spur increased bicycling in the community; plan ahead for the annual retreat slated for January 27th and 28th; and go over the next steps towards hosting the Michigan Municipal League annual Conference in Holland next September.
No formal action will be taken in the session, but issues brought up this evening may be referred to in future City Council business meetings.
