HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Republican Daniela Garcia has won a second term as State Representative for the 90th District in Ottawa County.
As of Wednesday morning, November 9, Garcia has 71% of the vote with 110 of 177 precincts reporting.
Garcia told WHTC News that it’s a great feeling that people in the community believe and trust in her especially for a second time around.
“My staff and our office have been able to talk to our constituents to help them with their everyday needs whether it be with treasury or a health issue, it’s customer service we’ve been able to focus on. I don’t take any decision or any vote that I make lightly and I think the voters recognize that.”
Garcia is involved in the community through a variety of organizations including serving on the boards of the West Coast Chamber of Commerce, the Children’s After School Achievement Program, (CASA), the Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan, and Kids’ Food Basket.
