GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – It wasn’t until Tuesday morning, November 8, that Donald Trump took to the stage at Devos Place in Grand Rapids, Michigan for his last rally in the state.
Trump was over 90 minutes late and special guest Michigan rocker Ted Nugent entertained the crowd singing his signature song “Fred Bear” and spoke for over 30 minutes.
Trump hit on familiar themes of blaming NAFTA for job losses in the Midwest and saying the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership will destroy the auto industry.
Trump took the stage around 12:30 a.m. after a speech in New Hampshire, saying he wanted to close things out in West Michigan after learning Democratic rival Hillary Clinton was speaking in the area Monday afternoon.
