HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – As voters in Ottawa County head to the polls, Ottawa County Clerk Justin Roebuck says familiarize yourself with the ballot before you go in to vote.
Polls are open till 8 p.m. and there are no changes to how the ballot looks this election. “It’s still the optical scan ballot so you need to make sure you mark in those ovals. The one thing I would say is that we have the straight party voting option on our ballots this time as we have had for the past several general elections. That’s an option you can use to vote for every candidate of a particular party. If you choose to vote for a party in a different race, that will still count.”
Roebuck says you can opt out and not use the straight party option.
Election Night coverage starts at 7 p.m. here on 1450 WHTC.
