SPRING LAKE, MI (WHTC) – A rollover crash has sent a Muskegon man to the hospital.
Sgt. Matt Wilfong of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Marshon Williams was southbound on U.S.-31 at Van Wagoner Road in Spring Lake Township when his vehicle rolled over after Williams switched lanes and swerved to avoid a collision.
Williams told deputies that around 10:04 p.m. Sunday evening, November 6, he had switched lanes and a vehicle in front of him had suddenly slammed on their brakes. Williams swerved to avoid a collision and that caused his 2008 Pontiac Torrent to lose control, leave the roadway and roll over.
Williams who was wearing his seatbelt was transported to Mercy Hospital in Muskegon for non-life-threatening injuries.
Responding agencies were the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Spring Lake Township Fire Rescue and North Ottawa Community Hospital Ambulance.
