HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Community Action Agencies 2017 Walk for Warmth doesn’t takes place till February of 2017, but their poster contest in underway.
The agency is putting the call out to all Ottawa Area Intermediate School District art teachers to have students submit entries. Last year’s winner of the poster contest was Sarah Neumann, a Junior at Zeeland West High School. She used a stitch design as her motif.
Community Action Agency’s Walk For Warmth raises money for families in Ottawa County who have received a shut-off notice from their utility company. Last year CAA with it’s range of programs, assisted over 5,000 qualified individuals.
Organizer of the walk Mike Stock says individuals and teams are forming now and the deadline for the poster contest in December 16, 2016.

The 2017 Walk for Warmth will take place at City on A Hill, 100 Pine Street in Zeeland at 8:30 a.m. on February 11.
