MUSKEGON, MI (WHTC) – A district court judge in Ottawa County will be deciding if Muskegon County Judge Raymond Kostrzewa stays on the bench for the murder trial of Jeffrey Willis.
Judge Bradley Knoll will hear the motion from the defense to disqualify Kostrzewa because the judge previously worked for the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office.
Willis is accused of kidnapping and killing Jessica Heeringa in April 2013. He’s also charged with the murder of jogger Rebekah Bletsch in 2014.
