HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 48-year-old Holland man is in custody after allegedly stabbing another man in the neck on Tuesday evening, October 11.
According to Captain Robert Buursma of the Holland Department of Public Safety, police were dispatched to the area of 16th Street and Central Avenue on a report of a subject screaming. Upon arrival officers could not locate the victim but did find a blood trail. Officers followed the trail to the area of 17th Street and Columbia Avenue, and found the victim in front of a residence.
The 55-year-old victim was able to provide a description of the suspect and a short time later officers located the suspect and took him into custody.
The victim was transported to Spectrum Hospital with a non-life threatening injury to the neck.
