HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – It’s Public Power Week and Holland Board of Public Works (HBPW) is celebrating along with more than 2,000 other community owned, not-for-profit electric utilities.
Dave Koster, General Manager at HBPW says that Public Power Week gives them the chance to emphasize the advantages of locally grown, locally owned power to Holland’s citizens.
A Customer Appreciation Day is Friday, October 7, from 11-5 p.m. at the HBPW Service Center located at 625 Hastings Avenue in Holland. Doughnuts from Cranes and cider is will be served along with giveaways and free LED PAR lights to those who attend.
Holland BPW has 175 employees and provides electric, water, wastewater treatment and broadband utility services to more than 28,000 business and residential customers in the Holland area.
