GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – An employee of Edify North in Holland was honored at the 12th Annual Lakeshore Athena Award luncheon.
Sara Julius is the 2016 recipient of the Athena Young Professional Leadership Award. Julius is Managing Partner of Edify North and has grown her company to 12 employees with over 50 clients and $1.8 million in revenue since 2009.
Julius served as Chair of West Coast Leadership Program’s Economic Development Day, Recruitment Chair for Heart Chase Holland, contributor to Holland Youth Advisory Council’s Heathy Holland, coaches Allegan and Ottawa County Girls on the Run, and was a featured Young Leaders panelist at a Holland Young Professionals event. Sara was recognized in 2014 as one of the Grand Rapids Business Journal’s 40 under 40.
An Athena Young Professional Recipient is an emerging leader who demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in their profession and is 40 years old or younger who serves as a role model for young women personally and professionally providing valuable service to improve the quality of life for others in the community.
The Lakeshore Athena Award Program is a collaboration of The Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce and the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce. The recipient is chosen by a selection committee composed of representatives from the participating Chambers and community business leaders. Ten Young Athena nominee finalists from the three lakeshore communities were recognized at the luncheon which was attended by over 360 regional community and business leaders
