TALLMADGE TWP, MI (WHTC) – A two vehicle crash has sent two women to the hospital.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Matt Wilfong says the crash occurred Sunday evening September 25, at 8:51 p.m. at 8th and Lincoln in Tallmadge Township.
Mason Maracek, 23, of Grand Rapids had stopped at the stop sign while westbound on Lincoln and was going to turn southbound onto 8th Avenue when he did not see a white van driven by Jane Feutz, 62, of Coopersville who was north on 8th Avenue. Feutz could not stop in time to avoid the collision.
Feutz was transported to Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids while Maracek’s passenger Tara Mullins, 25, of Grand Rapids was transported to St Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. Both injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
Mason Maracek was not injured in the crash.
