HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – It’s Hispanic Heritage Month and Holland has a progressive celebration today, Thursday, September 15.
It’s a traveling celebration featuring something for every age that highlights various area of Latino culture in Holland.
It starts at 4 p.m. at Herrick District Library where you can decorate your own pinata for free.
From 5-5:45 p.m. head to the Holland Museum for an art exhibit that features prints that highlight Mexican culture.
From there at 6-6:45 p.m. a free art exhibit called “Taller de’ Grafica Popular” will feature a Mexican Art Movement of the post World War II era at Hope College’s Kruizenga Art Museum.
The evening will conclude with Mariachi Flor De Toloche, an all female mariachi music group at Hope College. Tickets for that show are $15 for adults and $5 for children.
