LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Governor Snyder has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff today and tomorrow, September 1.
Two Michigan firefighters. James Shelifoe Jr. and Alan Swartz of the Beartown Fire Department in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula died on Saturday, August 27.
They were headed to fight the Box Canyon wildfire in Utah when they were killed in a crash on Interstate 35W in Blaine, Minnesota.
