LANSING, MI (WHTC) – One man from Allendale was among 47 recruits who graduated from the latest Michigan State Police Trooper Recruit School.
Earning trooper status during a Friday afternoon ceremony at the Lansing Center was Nicholas VanderMolen, who will be assigned to the Rockford post that covers Ottawa County. Two other new troopers – Christopher Caterina of Belding and Shay Wresinski of Mason – are joining the post in Wayland, while Lulu Ghannam of Plymouth and Eddie Mazurski of Three Rivers are designated for service in Paw Paw.
Governor Snyder delivered the keynote remarks for the 129th Trooper Recruit School graduation ceremony. There are currently two schools underway aimed to bolster the State Police corps.
