HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The 9th street construction project in Holland is moving along smoothly.
Right now the City of Holland says that Phase A is nearly complete and Phase B will continue into next week. This week between College Avenue between 9th and 10th Street, brick paver work is being completed. Restoration work begins later this week and the final course of asphalt along College Avenue will be installed in September.
As Phase C of the construction continues, milling on the south half of 9th Street between Pine and Washington Avenue is scheduled for Tuesday, August 23. As Hope College welcomes students back to campus, the city is asking motorists, students and parents to be aware of on-going work near the campus and to always be mindful of your surroundings.
The project should be complete by October 15 but that date is subject to change due to the scope of work, weather and other circumstances.
