HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Two Men and a Truck in Holland is more than a moving company. They have lent their services to several charities for years.
The latest is United Way of Ottawa County’s Stuff the Bus Program. As a partner they provided boxes and manpower to box up the school supplies collected in the campaign. “We obviously have the means to do it so why wouldn’t we help.” says area manager Karen Helms Padilla.
Padilla says the first thousand dollars that Two Men and a Truck ever made went to charity.
Sara Shaw who was hired in May is the Marketing Coordinator. She says this fall the company will be involved in “Movers for Mutts.” Items will be collected all over the lakeshore for the Southwestern Michigan Humane Society. “It’s a toys for tots type program where will have donation boxes at organizations around the state collecting items for dogs and cats.”
There are several ways to get involved in helping with their various charities. Follow them on Facebook, and their website.
