HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – It will literally be the dog days of summer this Saturday, August 20, at Grand Ravines Dog Park in Jenison.
This Saturday you can have your dog microchipped by Allendale Animal Hospital. The Humane Society of West Michigan will be on hand with adoptable dogs-on-site. A doggie photo booth, groming corner and more awaits you and your pup.
Special guests include Zeke the Wonderdog with his trainer tossing a frisbee. Adams K9 will do a training demo and take training questions.
The Dog Days of Summer Event runs from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, August 20, at Grand Ravines Dog Park located at 3991 Fillmore Street in Jenison.
Donations and proceeds will go toward the park developments such as shade structures, more paths, paved parking lot and modern restrooms.
