HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Construction on Holland’s 9th street is progressing.
The City of Holland says the final course of asphalt was placed on 9th Street between Pine and River on Monday, August 1. Today, August 2, this section of 9th Street will be reopened to traffic. Lane closures will still be in effect along Pine and on 9th Street but traffic and trucks will be able to utilise these routes again.
As crews work on the west half of the intersection at 9th and Pine Tuesday, August 2, all southbound traffic on Pine Avunue will have to turn east on 9th Street at Pine to River and continue south.
The traffic signal at 9th and River is scheduled to return to normal Red, Yellow and Green mode today, August 2nd.
Phase C of the project will start in mid August with an October 15th date of completion.
